From the moment Georgia Quinn discovers her timid roommate's two brothers secretly staying in her decaying house, the story unfolds with the charming chaos reminiscent of Goldilocks encountering the three bears. Each character in Just Right brings a unique flavor to the tale, much like Goldilocks tasting the different bowls of porridge. Georgia's journey in finding what—or rather, who—is just right for her is both entertaining and heartwarming.
Heath's writing style is engaging, and the pacing is perfect for a novella meant to be devoured in one sitting. The interactions between Georgia, her ex-boyfriend Rex, and her new crush Matthew are infused with tension, humor, and sincerity. It's a delicate balance that Heath manages to maintain throughout the story, ensuring that nothing feels too rushed or too slow—everything is just right.
One of the standout aspects of Just Right is the seamless integration of Christian messages. They are woven into the narrative naturally, never feeling forced or out of place.
