For instance, early in the story, Brielle prayed for God’s help, she recalled Scripture and recited the verse “God is your strong tower and fortress of protection…” as “words like armor over her …” Moments later, Lucas quotes Joshua 1:5 and further encouraged Brielle by reminder her: “No matter what, God is with us. We’re never, ever abandoned.” This story exemplifies how important it is to surround ourselves with likeminded and maturing followers of Jesus.
