I recommend Daughter of Eden to those who want to use their innovative gifts along with the author’s to explore the reasons why Eve disobeyed God and the how the evil spiritual realm executed an incredibly dastardly, substantial role in the fall of humanity. The author weaves God’s absolute truths and Scriptures beautifully throughout the artistically, whimsical, fictional storylines.
To be sure, a couple of takeaways from this well-written book is that Satan is the enemy of our souls, he hates humans. As Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” When we read the Genesis 1-5 in the Bible, we may be surprised by the thoughts and actions of Adam, Eve, their children, and the evil spiritual realm. It is more than awe-inspiring that nothing catches our Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent Triune God by surprise!
As Ephesians 1:3-9 says: “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sins. He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. God has now revealed to us His mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill His own good plan.”
The author’s expressed desire that the reader realizes that nothing we do will ever stop God from loving us comes through loud and clear through Daughter of Eden!
